MIRACULOUS HEALING OF NORAH

A ROSARY I BLESSED AT THE SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA IN PORTUGAL SAVED MY SISTER'S LIFE. MY SISTER IS SO DEAR TO ME THAT I WAS SO HAPPY THAT HER LIFE WAS SPARED THROUGH THE INTERCESSION OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA AND THROUGH THE HOLY ROSARY. (READ THE STORY BELOW)
The Mysterious Illness
My elder sister became severely sick in September 2011. For the next six years, her life was miserable. She was almost turning into a vegetable before the miraculous healing took place in early 2018.
That dark September morning in 2011, Norah woke up from sleep abruptly after she felt like she was hit on her head viciously with a sledgehammer. She looked around sharply as she woke up. She was surprised that no one was standing over her with a sledgehammer. She looked at the door to see if anyone was walking away from the room, but no one was in the room except her. As she felt sharp pain in her head, she ran her hand on her head to check what was going on, but her head was intact without any bruise, cut or smear of blood. At that point, the headache she felt was indescribable. She felt as though her skull was cracked. She got off the bed, got a glass of water and took some pain killers. Nothing changed after some time.
As all the pain killers failed to stop the headache, she proceeded to the hospital. When the doctor saw the severity of the pain, he advised her to stop breastfeeding her seven-month-old baby. As days went by, the pain was not subsiding. The doctors could not diagnose the cause of the headache nor state why the pain killers were not able to stop the headache. As weeks developed into months and months into years, her condition continued to deteriorate. Things turned so bad in subsequent years that she would collapse whenever she went to a crowded place. She was completely destabilized. She could no longer go near the stove or heat. At last, when the horrible headache defied diagnosis and refused to stop, the doctors referred Norah to the neurologist to begin a session for possible brain surgery. That was when our entire family broke down. Brain surgery was the last thing we expected. We all resorted to prayers, especially the rosary.
As a dedicated mother with young children, Norah was devastated by her inability to fulfil her responsibilities towards her children. At a certain stage of the strange illness, her restaurant business was shut down as she could no longer support the business. The closure of her business affected the family badly as all the financial responsibilities of the family fell on her husband. This whole situation lingered on painfully without anyone seeing any solution in sight.
Norah’s Dream
That period, I lived in Barcelona Spain with my family. In 2017, six years on, Norah was extremely sick, and no one knew what to do to help her. The doctors had no options left after Norah vehemently refused to engage in a process that could lead to brain surgery. She literally discarded the referral paper given to her by the doctor to see the neurologist. At that point, she handed the entire case to Jesus and Mary and asked them to take absolute control.
One morning in December of 2017, I called her to find out how she was doing. She began to tell me of the dream she had in which she saw me praying the Rosary with three men. In her account, in the dream she exclaimed, oh you are praying the rosary, and I responded telling her that it was the Blessed Virgin Mary that gave the Rosary to me. She said that she took the Rosary from me and touched it on Her head and chest and asked Our Lady to obtain healing for her. After listening to her dream, out of mere curiosity, I asked her what type of rosary she saw me praying in the dream. When she began to describe the rosary and told me the colour of the rosary and the material it was made of, I told her that what she had was a vision, not a dream. She asked what I meant that the dream she narrated to me was a vision rather than a dream. I told her about the rosary I got from Fatima which was on the desk in our prayer room in Barcelona as I was having the discussion with her. This is what happened.

The Rosary from the Shrine of Fatima
I travelled to Fatima from Spain on 22nd of August 2017 for the feast of the Queenship of Mary. That was my first visit to Fatima. While I was in Fatima, I purchased some rosaries and had them blessed at the Chapel of Apparitions, the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima. When I returned to Spain, I gave out all the rosaries. I kept only one rosary, not knowing who to give it to. When Norah described the rosary, I was praying in the dream, amazingly, it was the same rosary I blessed in Fatima which I kept in our prayer room in case someone asks for a rosary. I never told her I brought some rosaries from Fatima and neither did I tell her that I kept one of the rosaries.
When I told her why I said that what she had was a vision rather than a dream, as I narrated to her about the rosaries I brought from Fatima, how I kept just one of the rosaries after giving out the rest, and how the rosary she described she saw in the dream was similar to the rosary I kept behind, she screamed and asked me how I could get the rosary across to her. To her question on how I could get the rosary across to her, I replied telling her how highly blessed she was. My brother-in-law was going to get married in the last week of December. We were about to send a box that contain some wedding presents to him in Enugu, Nigeria. Norah and her family lived in the same city. They lived in the same region, a few minutes’ walk from the home of my brother-in-law. She was overwhelmed with joy when I told her I was going to include the rosary in the box. The DHL box was delivered to them in a week’s time. Norah received the rosary few days after.
The Miraculous Healing
On receiving the rosary in late December of 2017, she would place the rosary on her head the same way she did in the dream and tie her head scarf on it. She carried the rosary wrapped in her head everywhere she went as she kept invoking Our Lady of Fatima for assistance. In January 2018, barely three weeks after she received the rosary, as she was participating in a prayer session in a Marian convention, at some point, the rosary mysteriously fell from her head and disintegrated into some pieces. She picked them up and gave them to her son to fix. Having fixed the rosary, her son gave the rosary back to her and she put it on Her head again and tied the scarf on it. For the second time, the Rosary fell off her head. Picking up the rosary, she addressed Jesus and Mary telling them that she believed they had finished their work on Her. She did not put the rosary on her head again. After some days, she noticed the headache had eased off. It felt calm in subsequent days. It did not take long before she realized that she had received miraculous healing. The strange headache that had tormented her for six years had gone. Until today, five years after Norah experienced healing, the headache didn’t return. This miraculous occurrence further transformed her life, and it has deepened her love for the Blessed Virgin Mary and Our Lord Jesus Christ. She had testified to this exceptional miracle at different places, and that has strengthened the faith of people that listened to her. Many were drawn closer to the Holy Virgin Mary and the rosary. My Guardian Angel helped as I prayed the Rosary

The Financial Insufficiency
We owned a family business of production and supply of handcrafted rosaries. We lived in the town of Ripollet in the province of Barcelona in Spain. Our rosary production business wasn’t a big one then, but it kept us occupied and happy, and helped generate the income we needed to take care of the basic needs of our family. We also viewed the enterprise as a means of playing our part in promoting devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and devotion to the holy rosary. My wife and I and our three children lived in a rented four-bedroom flat. We used one of the rooms for prayers and the rosary work. We were happy in our simple lives as a family that practice the Catholic faith.
As usual, there are many ups and downs that arise when managing a small business. Sometimes, a little infringement like loss of sales or over expenditure makes significant impacts on the business. Due to the delicate nature of our relatively small business then, we usually experienced financial instability, especially in September, after the back-to-school expenditures, and in January after the Christmas celebration. Despite our efforts to cut down on spending during the preparations of the Christmas and the New Year celebrations, we inevitably ended up in some financial difficulties at the beginning of the year. It was such situation that led to the prayer I offered on 25th of January 2018 that was answered in circumstances that are quite exceptional. I believe that Heaven wants this story told, so that the faith of the people of God would be impacted and God be glorified in the intercessions of His holy Mother and the ever-unfailing presence and assistance of our holy Guardian Angels.
We supply rosaries on wholesale to Catholic Churches and religious article shops. Usually, our clients seldom make orders in January. We had no fresh orders at the time of this incident, but we had an order pending supply to a religious article shop in Fatima, Portugal. It was the remaining part of an order made by the shop in September of the previous year. We shipped out the order on 10th of January, and they received it on the 15th of January. As the shop maintains a thirty-day payment policy from the day they receive the shipment, in this case, we were to expect the payment from 15th of February.
By 15th of January, we were almost running out of cash. On Monday the 22nd of January, we had Forty-Three Cents Euros, less than One Euro, in our bank account, and we had Five Euros note at home. We had a little food stuff at home that would be enough for the family for a week. By that time, considering that we don’t usually receive orders in January, anxiety was beginning to set in. I went out in search of sales for three days, but I got none. As we were running out of food stuff rapidly, panic began to creep in. I practically had no option left. I tried hard to suppress panic and to look strong, so my wife does not read panic on my face and become anxious. I was hopeful that Heaven would somehow intervene, but I did not know how.
We Turned to Mary Mother of God

As all the efforts we made to find some funds urgently had proved abortive, and there wasn’t any immediate source of assistance available, having looked around and saw no other option in sight, I did what I was thought to do when all hope is lost; I turned to the Mother of God, Mary Help of Christians. My heart was filled with a strong thought to pray the rosary. That thought filled my heart with joy. Sitting on the sofa in the living room, I dipped my hand in my hip pocket, pull out my rosary beads and began to pray.
It was early in the morning on Thursday the 25th of January 2018, as our first son was preparing for school, I decided to pray five decades of the rosary to present the biting situation to the Virgin Mary and ask Her to help us in that difficult situation. Since it was Thursday, I chose to pray the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary, the Mysteries of Light, which is officially assigned to Thursdays. After praying the first mystery, the Baptism of Jesus in River Jordan, in the second mystery, the Wedding Feast at Cana in Galilee, I addressed the Blessed Virgin Mary as if She was standing before me, with utmost confidence that She was listening to me, I reminded Her how She intervened in the situation of the couple at the wedding feast at Cana in Galilee and interceded for them before Jesus Her Son, when they ran out of wine at the middle of their wedding, and how She saved the couple from shame when Jesus turned water into wine through Her intercession. I asked Our Blessed Mother Mary to do the same for my family in that difficult situation we were in. As I was concluding the fifth decades of the Luminous mysteries of the rosary, I felt a strong urge to go pray another rosary at the chapel of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at the convent of the Religious Sisters of Nuestra Señora
del Encuentro con Dios on Calle Xucla in central Barcelona. I felt immense joy in my heart as I thought of going to the chapel of perpetual adoration to pray the rosary in the presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. I did as I was inspired. I went to the chapel to pray the rosary. That was where the Divine Intervention that prompted the writing of this account had taken place.
In the Chapel of Perpetual Adoration
After the children had left for school, I left for the chapel of perpetual adoration. I got on the bus from Ripollet to Sagrera metro station. From Sagrera, I boarded a metro train to Plaça Catalunya at central Barcelona, from where I took a seven-minute walk to the convent of the Hermanas (Sisters) de Nuestra Señora del Encuentro con Dios. In the chapel, I began to pray another five decades of the rosary. I prayed the Luminous Mystery once again and repeated the same intention as before asking the Holy Virgin to intervene in our situation and obtain help for my family, now in the presence of Our Lord Jesus exposed in the monstrance.

As I concluded the five decades of the rosary in the chapel, I got up and was heading to the door to leave when I felt like a voice was speaking to my heart. I stopped and listened. What I heard was distinctly clear but unbelievable. In my heart, I was inspired to return to the pews and ask my guardian angel to communicate with the guardian angel of the person in charge of payment at the religious article shop in Fatima, where we supplied the rosaries that was delivered on January 15th, and make the person to proceed to make the payment for the supply that same day I was praying in the chapel, 25th of January, instead of waiting till February 15, which was the due date for the payment. I had said many prayers in the past, but none was of this nature. To send my guardian angel to someone else’s guardian angel, and request that immediate payment is made to me 21 days before the payment due date, contrary to the company’s 30-day payment policy, was completely strange to me. I knew I could not make such request personally because the company would not twist its policy easily. Despite the impossible nature of the request, I went ahead and said the prayer as I was inspired considering that I was very certain that I felt the voice in my heart inspire me to do that.
I returned to the pews, knelt, and offered the prayer to my guardian angel the way I was inspired to. I said, “Oh my Guardian Angel, please communicate with the guardian angel of the person in charge of payment at the religious article shop in Fatima and ask the guardian angel to communicate to him/her to make the payment of our last supply today instead of the due date for the payment.” The prayer lasted much less than a minute. I gave thanks to Jesus and Mary, got up, made double genuflection, and left the chapel.
As I left the chapel walking back to Placa Catalunya to catch a metro train back home, I felt pity for myself as I thought of how severe things had gone that made me offer such prayer that appeared childlike and unrealistic. I felt like an innocent little boy that asked his father to uproot an iroko tree with his bare hands and give the huge tree to him. Despite how impossible that prayer sounded, I kept up the faith that God can do all things especially in time when miracle is needed to resolve a difficult situation like that which we had. I tried hard to suppress all doubts. My wife knew I went to the chapel to pray. When I got home, I did not tell her the sort of prayer I said in the chapel, that I asked my guardian angel to go to Fatima and communicate with the guardian angel of the person in charge of payment at the company to compel him or her to make the payment due on February 15 today, January 25. I didn’t want her to begin to feel that the situation has affected my reasoning. Deep down in my mind, I had serious difficulty clinging on hope that that prayer would be answered in the manner I offered it. I felt that maybe God wanted to see how much I trust in Him by accepting to say the prayer in utmost simplicity of heart, and in return He would provide a solution through a more realistic means. I kept that to myself and carried on with things I had to do for the day.
The Unexpected Email
The following day, Friday 26th of January, we engaged in our normal morning routines. After our morning prayers, we began to prepare the children for school. When they left, my wife and I embarked on our normal daily work. I was worried, and I knew she was worried as well. As we had passed through difficult times at different periods in the past and did come out of them through the help of the Divine Providence, we had developed a kind of resilient attitude that helps us to cope with difficult situations whenever they arise. That morning of January 26th was such occasions. However, rather than cry and agitate as we had virtually no money in the bank and just five euros at home, and were running out of food supplies, we kept calm and continued to do whatever we could to make sure we did not stay idle. We normally go through our business emails many times during the day to see if there is mail to attend to. There are seldom serious business emails at that time of the year, so we do not check our emails as often as we do when the season is on. As we were in midst of work, somewhere around midday, I thought of making a routine check on our email. I logged on to our email account not expecting any serious mail. That was when I saw the unexpected email.
There were about ten unread emails in the inbox. Usually, the most recent email stays on top. The email on the top was an invoice from one of our suppliers. The email came in at 11:14 am. The next email was from the shipping company reminding us of an unpaid invoice. It came in at 10:53 am. The third email was from a Catholic diocese in Guyana, South America and it came in at 8:45 am. The fourth email turned out to be the unexpected but the most important email. Of the ten emails, that was the first email I opened and, after opening it, I didn’t have time to open any other email as my wife and I packed our work things aside and started making a shopping list.
That email came in at 7:42 am, almost five hours before I checked the email box. Had we checked the emails earlier, we would have saved ourselves from some anxiety, but we could not have checked it earlier as we were not expecting anything than invoices from our suppliers, requiring payments from us. We tried to avoid emails and notifications that could aggravate our already heightened anxiety at that time. That golden email was sent by the religious article shop in Fatima and it bore the subject: notice of payment. I could not process what I read at the first time until I read it the second time. I opened the email with the speed of lightning and was met with an unbelievable surprise. I could not believe what I was looking at. It was a notification of payment. Below is the copy of the email. It is in Portuguese language. I was baffle

Os nossos melhores cumprimentos,
I was speechless when I saw the content of the email. What baffled me most was not that the payment was made at an unusual time, but that I prayed the rosary the previous day asking the Blessed Virgin to intervene in our precarious situation and I was inspired to request that my guardian angel communicate with the guardian angel of the person in charge of payment, so that the payment that was due for 15th of February should rather be made on the 25th of January, and now I have received notification on 26th of January that the payment has been made. By this time, I already considered it a miracle thinking that the payment was made on the 26th of January, a day after I said the prayers, and I was singing songs of glories, but when I opened the attached pdf file that has a copy of the bank transfer, I was completely blown away. The payment was not made on the 26th of January as I thought. It was the notification email that was sent on the morning of January 26. When I downloaded the pdf file, the date of the bank transfer was written on the top part of the document. The payment was made on the 25th of January, the same day I was inspired in my prayers to request that the payment be made. At that point, I knew for sure that a miracle had taken place.
I was in the bedroom while my wife was working in the sitting room. I wanted to be sure that the email was not an error before calling her attention. The only way to confirm was to check our bank account. Under normal circumstances, when money transfer is made from one European Union country to another, it takes one business day for the funds to be available in the recipient’s account. Since the attached bank transfer document shows that the transfer was made on the 25th of January, the funds should be in our account on the 26th. I entered online banking and typed the username and the password to access the online account. As the account opened, I threw a quick glance at the section that has the bank balance, and I was completely shocked at what I saw. Considering the circumstances surrounding the payment date as against the normal due date, I was not so sure of what to expect. What I saw confirmed the whole thing to be true. Our account no longer had Forty-Three Cents that was there since 22nd of January, the account had One Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifty-Six Euros and Forty-Five Cents. Awesome! I was overwhelmed with joy. That was when I called my wife and shared the joyful news with her. We were ecstatic with joy, all smiles and relieved. We could not believe our eyes. When I narrated to her the nature of the prayers I was inspired to say in the chapel of perpetual adoration, we were amazed at the infinite goodness of God, the intercessory power of the Blessed Virgin Mother of God, Mary Most Holy, the undoubtable efficacy and power of the prayer of the rosary, and the immense work and prompt assistance of the guardian angel.
After this event, I intensified prayers to my guardian angel knowing that he is ever around me, that he sees me, hears me and is eager to assist me when I call on him. I have had series of encounters with my guardian angel from then, and he has directed and admonished me at various points. My guardian angel has been very active ever since then until today. I feel he helps me when I make decisions, so I don’t make mistakes. I am very grateful to God for giving us Mary to be our mother, for assigning guardian angels to us and for giving us the Holy Rosary. I will close this beautiful account with a quote from Sister Lucia of Fatima. One of the three seers at the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima.
“The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, or of our families…that cannot be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary.” Kingsley Ifeanyi Eze

Linda Received Instantaneous Healing as She made contact with the Rosary
Shortly after we arrived in England, I got a job in a nursing home in Oxford. The nursing home takes care of the sick and elderly people, including those suffering from terminal illnesses and those nearing the end of their lives. This beautiful occupation of Care/Nursing Assistant offered me the opportunity to have encounters with the terminally sick and the dying. Knowing how important it is to bring a dying person close to God, I tried as much as possible to utilize the beautiful opportunity to bring the sick and the dying close to Jesus and Mary when they express desire for that. During that period, I had supported the dying before their souls departed. It was in one of such encounters with the dying that the Most Holy Virgin Mother of God manifested the healing power of the Rosary to a non-Catholic soul who, after witnessing what she described as a living miracle of the Holy Rosary, had embraced the Catholic faith before her soul departed. I wish to narrate the story of what transpire in that medical unit, for the edification of souls and for the glory of God. I have used different names, so I don’t disclose the real identity of the individuals involved.
Unimaginable Constipation
It was around 8 am in the morning, after we had taken over from the night staff. The InterCall box began to beep. I went to check the screen to find out which room it was coming from. InterCall is a communication system installed in the room of the residents that the resident would use to attract the attention of the nurses and care staff when they need something or in an emergency by pressing the button. The call button is placed beside the bed of each resident. The screen is placed at various points in the corridors. Whenever it sounds, the nurses or the care assistants would check the screen to find out the room number from which the bell was ringing and go to the room to attend to the resident. I went off to check on the resident in the room from which the call came. She was a lady that was battling cancer that was at the terminal stage.
On entering her room, Linda was on her bed in a very distressed state. She never gets out of bed. She was in severe pain. I had not seen her since the past week as I was off duty for some days and worked in other units before I was posted to the unit where she was. I inquired about her health, asking her how she was getting on. With pains and fear written all over her face, she told me that she had been badly constipated for the past days. She said that all the medications that were administered to her weren’t helping the situation. She had not passed stools for close to one week. What bothered her most, she said, was the fear that she might suffer the type of severe constipation she suffered in the past that had resulted in her passing the stools from her mouth. I was shocked to hear that she passed stools from her mouth in the past. That was the first time I heard that someone could pass stools from the mouth. I could then understand why she appeared so terrified and distressed.
The Rosary Heals
Feeling pity and deeply concerned for Linda, I began to tell her not to be afraid as God could intervene in her situation and turn things around for her. The soothing words appeared to be giving her some consolation. Her countenance began to change from that of one very terrified and distressed to that of someone who found new hope. Seeing the effect of the discussion on her and how she grew deeply interested in the discussions, I proceeded to tell her the benefit of placing our trust in God in all circumstances, especially in times of suffering. This triggered more faith-related discussions. That was when Linda told me she was not a Catholic, but that all her children got their educations from Catholic schools. As our discussion progresses, I began to tell her about devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary and how we could receive favours and graces from God through the intercession of the Mother of God. At this point, I began to tell her about the efficacy of the prayer of the holy Rosary. Telling her how much grace and favours I had received by praying the rosary, and how much devoted my family and I are to the prayers of the Rosary. Telling her that I pray the rosary every day and always have my Rosary on me, I brought out my Rosary from my hip pocket to demonstrate that I carry it with me always. As soon as she saw my beautiful Rosary, she stretched out her hand and joyfully asked me to let her feel the it if I wouldn’t mind. I put my Rosary in her outstretched hand with utmost joy, feeling so happy about everything that was playing out at that moment, especially how the little interactions had made her forget her pains and distress.
Linda held the beautifully handcrafted Rosary that was made with multi-faceted finely cut polished 6mm tiger’s eye natural stone beads in her hands and reverently admired it with undivided attention. Her joy became visibly ecstatic when I told her that I made the Rosary myself. She made very beautiful remarks before returning the Rosary to me. I thanked her for her remarks as I put the Rosary beads back in my pocket.
I was concluding the session with her and was about to leave the room when she suddenly fidgeted and asked me to wait. She kept quiet for a few seconds looking as if something was happening to her. I was watching her intently not knowing what to expect. The next thing I heard her say was “something is happening to me now; I am having a bowel movement.” She repeated that many times fidgeting and looking down towards her lower body. I was watching her completely bemused. The next minute, she asked me to call the nurse. She was practically passing stools as I stood there beside her bed. She began to exclaim; “miracle has taken place; miracle has taken place. As soon as I held your Rosary in my hands and returned it to you, I began to have bowel movement, and now I am practically passing loose stools that feels like I have the diarrhea.” Completely overwhelmed with amazement, I dashed out of the room to fetch the nurse. The nurse walked briskly ahead of me, and I followed closely as we entered Linda’s room. Linda broke the news to the nurse breathlessly. “I held Kingsley’s Rosary in my hands and as soon as I gave the Rosary back to him, I started having bowel movement, and now I am passing stools for the first time after close to a week.” The nurse who is non-Catholic could not understand what Linda was talking about except that she communicated that she had some discharge. She examined Linda and looked up to me giggling as she signaled to me to get a second care assistant. Seeing her happy but confused countenance, I needed no soothsayer to know she was completely bewildered. Also, as she asked me to get a second carer to get down to work, I guessed Linda had done a massive job, and we had a lot of cleaning to do. After all, my guess was very right.
The News went Abroad.
When Tiffany, the second care assistant, came in, Linda began to give her testimony immediately. Tiffany, also a non-Catholic, turned to me, wondering what Linda said that I gave to her that dissolved the hardened human waste that had kept her uncomfortable for close to a week. I asked her if she knew what is called the Rosary. When she said she didn’t, I promised to explain to her what Linda was talking about. After we had given attention to Linda and sanitized our hands, I brought out my Rosary and showed it to Tiffany. She concluded it was a miracle that made Linda pass loose stools seconds after holding the prayer beads when all the medications failed to work. She agreed to have me tell her more about the miraculous prayer beads and possibly teach her how to use them. Another Nursing Assistant, also non-Catholic, saw me a day after and asked me about the miracle that happened in Linda’s room when I went to attend to her. It was only those who hadn’t been to Linda’s room that did not hear about the miracle of the Rosary.
An Indian Nursing Assistant who practices Hinduism walked up to me almost two weeks after the incident, and began to tell me that Linda told him that she was so sick with very bad constipation, and that Kingsley came to attend to her and gave her rose Mary which she held in her hands, and that as soon as she gave the rose Mary back to Kingsley, she began to have bowel movement and opened bowel. The gentleman asked me where he would find the rose Mary. I told him about the Rosary and showed him my Rosary beads. After about a month, he and a nurse received a summon to appear in the corona’s office for a corona inquest to determine if they would be prosecuted on account of a resident who died after he fell and fractured his hips during manual handling performed by the gentleman. He was so troubled. I promised to offer the Rosary for him when he asked me to help him with my rose Mary so the case would be dropped. The day after the inquest, he met me to tell me that the case was struck off, and all charges were dropped. After that, he would always ask people to ask Kingsley to help them with his rose Mary whenever they found themselves in difficult situations.
Linda died about two months after the incident. Two days before she died, while I was on duty in the unit where she was, I went to her room to see her. I had some holy water I brought from Our Lady of Lourdes grotto when we visited France for the new year of 2023. Linda accepted that I sprinkle the holy water on her as I offered some prayers for her. I gave her the crucifix of St. Benedict which she accepted joyfully. When I passed by to see her later in the afternoon, she put her right hand under her blouse and brought out the St. Benedict crucifix I gave to her. She brandished it before me with a broad smile on her face and told me that she places the crucifix on her belly trusting that God would come to her help. I gave her a prayer card of St. Jude and urged her to make a nine-hour novena to St. Jude after she listened to two testimonies of assistance my mother and I received from invoking the help of St. Jude Thaddeus at difficult occasions. Before I left at the end of my shift, I came back to see Linda. She was very happy to see me. I offered her some words of encouragement, telling her not to be afraid. Before I left her room, I did what I had never done before. I held her palm tenderly, looked into her eyes, bent down, and pressed a kiss on the back of her hand. When I was leaving her room, I had a strong feeling that I had kissed her goodbye and would never see her alive again. I dismissed the thought and walked on out of the unit and out of the building. I was off duty the following day. When I returned to work two days later, I was told that Linda died in the early hours of that day.
Despite that I prayed and desired that Linda receives divine healing, I was not disappointed that she died, because I believe that God granted her the healing she needed most, healing of her soul and the grace of a happy death. She might have experienced joy dying with her newly found faith. She must have been assisted in her final journey by Mary Mother of God, St. Jude Thaddeus and our father in faith, St. Benedict. My heart is pleased. A couple of weeks after Linda passed away, I learnt that St. Benedict crucifix is called ‘Happy Death Crucifix’. It might appear like a coincident that all these happened as she neared the end of her life, but all these I believe were in God’s plan for her poor soul. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace…. amen. Kingsley I Eze
